Value what you have achieved

So often we take ourselves and what we have achieved for granted. As an example. Today I made up a To Do list of 30 items. I didn’t think at the beginning of the day I would get them done as each task had a long time component. It is only 4 pm and I have completed 25 of the 30 items.  But it is not just about what you have achieved in the day, to value what you have achieved you need to appreciate what you have learnt as well.

I use a really valuable tool that I call “Regrouping”. I ask myself the following questions.

  • What did I do?
  • What did I learn?
  • What would I do differently?

What would I do differently?

  • My Personal Life (this is all about me, myself, I).
  • My Business Life (when I am in business),
  • My Social Life

When you do this regularly, you will find that you appreciate what you are doing and what you are learning in life and you may also find certain patterns of behaviour you or others interacting with you fall into. If you identify a pattern that isn’t working for you, it is easier to pinpoint what the factors leading up to you falling into that pattern is if you are doing regular “Regroupings”.

If you would like some help identifying and working through those patterns, why not make a Booking.
